It's a great time of year, when the Milky Way rises and brings with it Scorpio and its delights, s well as the Milky Way core itself. I'm looking forward to trying for it in new ways this year, and will post what I get. In the meantime, here's a capture of the Milky Way from Lampasas in Central Texas, taken last year.
