The M1 Crab Nebula


This is a supernova remnant. The Chinese recorded the supernova event in 1060AD, and even saw it during daylight hours for several days. It lies around 6,500 light years away.

- Processed in PixInsight, Adobe Lightroom, and Topaz Denoise AI
